Make a Tool Sheath

Come along with your axe or knife and make a custom sheath, made to measure.
You’ll learn to make a template, cut out leather, build the wealt, install a rivet and press stud and then sew it all together by hand.
If you’re making a knife sheath you’ll also learn how to wet-mould the leather to hug the shape of your knife.
Description
Here are some examples of knife and axe sheaths.
There’s also the possibility of making other sheaths or holsters but, depending on the design and, therefore, on the amount of leather required, there may be an additional material charge of up to £30.
These courses are held at our lovely home in Carnforth, North Lancashire. More details will be sent out after you’ve booked.
