Another Gladstone Bag Restoration Project

The restoration of a customer’s grandfather’s Gladstone bag involved addressing several issues, including a large side hole, torn lining, dry leather, and a failing handle. The repair process included patching the outside of the bag, replacing the handle, and carefully reassembling it to preserve the original leather. The project celebrated family heritage.

Recent Repair Work

Over the past year, I’ve repaired various items, including a hat box, an old holdall, a binoculars case, and a mandolin case. Each required unique fixes such as restitching, reinforcing, replacing straps, and refurbishing components. My favorite was the holdall, now serving a local Rotary Club. Contact me for repairs.
