Another Gladstone Bag Restoration Project

The restoration of a customer’s grandfather’s Gladstone bag involved addressing several issues, including a large side hole, torn lining, dry leather, and a failing handle. The repair process included patching the outside of the bag, replacing the handle, and carefully reassembling it to preserve the original leather. The project celebrated family heritage.

Last Winter Market of the Year!

The busy season has been wonderful, with many orders appreciated by customers. There are still a few items to complete before Christmas. The last market will be at the Bowes Museum from December 13-15, 2024. Attendees can find belts, wallets, and books for sale. Warm drinks are welcomed!

New Briefcase

The author made their first briefcase almost 10 years ago and recently created a new one for sale at the Witherslack Exhibition. The new briefcase is crafted from UK veg-tanned, full-grain leather with solid brass buckles and clips cast in the Midlands.
